WordLogic holds six issued U.S. and European patents and five pending U.S. patent applications, one of which has received a Notice of Allowability from the USPTO.

The newest and 4th US Patent number is 7921361 issued on
April 5, 2010.

The US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has issued a Notice
of Allowability for one (1) more patent pending applications to
the WordLogic Corporation and Notice of Allowance for Patent 11/871,900.

These two patents above refer to WordLogic's "keyboard prediction and search utilizing gesturing software technology".

The other three United States Patents held are 7293231, 7681124 and 7716579 "Data entry for personal computing devices".

In one aspect of the invention, the user can rapidly enter and search for text through a combination of entering one or more characters (a partial text entry) on a digitally displayed keyboard with a pointing device and using a search list to display a list of selectable completion candidates based on the partial text entry. The user can select one of the completion candidates in the search list to replace the partial text entry which the user is currently entering. Alternatively, the user can select a completion candidate to be the basis of a search for a refined list of completion candidates. The user can also deactivate the interactive search list, and immediately continue adding to or modifying the current partial text entry, and may re-invoke the search list to further search for completion candidates based on the modified partial text entry.

The two European Patents held are European Patent 1171813 "Data entry for personal computing devices" and European Patent 1356368 "Data entry method and system for personal computer, and corresponding computer readable medium".
